"It is the unknown that defines our existence. We are constantly searching, not just for answers to our questions, but for new questions."

USS Komorkis
The year is 2380 and space as we know it has been changed forever over the last twenty-some-odd years. The Borg have invaded time and time again, leaving chaos and destruction in their wake. The Dominion War has left its mark across three quadrants, and with the return of the USS Voyager with a new way to travel to the Delta Quadrant has been found. All of this though has left many wondering if the Federation has the ability to return to its core purpose and if Starfleet still can join them in doing what its truly supposed to do when not faced with war and crisis after crisis. The citizens of the Federation are ready to be inspired once more, not forced to live in a security state due to the fears of the few. And the first order of business is to start exploring once more...

That call has been heard and the USS Komorkis, a Luna-class starship has been commissioned under Captain Batu Ra-Ejine. Assigned with a five-year mission to chart and fully explore the Gamma Quadrant. It will be a chance to boldly seek out strange new life and search for the unknown, to explore where none have dared to go, and to dream with the brightest minds that Starfleet has. If necessary the crew will even be prepared to face the shadows that arise of enemies who would do the Federation Harm. But this is a ship meant for exploration, and with it, set to be home to one of the most diverse crews and minds that Starfleet has put together, along with it the most advanced technology available.

Welcome to the USS Komorkis. We are a Star Trek simulation set in the year 2380, which is set during the timeframe of a Lower Decks and around twenty years before the events of Star Trek: Picard. We have all come together here to follow in the vision of what Star Trek truly is: to explore the unknown, to seek out new people and new friends, and maybe even discover new civilizations along the way. Those who join us are the heart and soul of the Komorkis, the command team is merely the guiding hand who weaves the story to ensure your growth as a player and a chance for you to tell your story aboard our ship.

If this is what you have been searching for I personally invite you to take a moment and join us on our adventure. We've been waiting for you.

Greetings all,

It is with my great pleasure to announce that the USS Komorkis is live once more and being shaped in a whole new way after it's departure from Pegasus Fleet. We're dialing the years back to 2380 where conflict and strife is still ripe in the mind of many and a desire to return to exploration and discovery is greatly needed. That's where the Komorkis comes in, a Luna-class explorer that is undertaking a five year mission into the Gamma Quadrant. Led by the seasoned and talented if not somewhat unique Captain Batu Ra-Ejine, it promises to be one of Starfleet's most talked about ships with one of its most diverse crews.

We're happy to be recruiting as of today, accepting applications for virtually every role the sim has to offer with the exception of your Captain of course. And joining us right off the bat is the talented StarDuster whose writing is always a pleasure to have and join in with. They'll be playing our Chief Counselor, who just happens to also be a Cardassian Exchange Officer. We look forward to seeing Lt Bipasha Chaitali in action.

If you yourself are interested in joining the sim please take the opportunity to Enlist with us! Those wishing to apply for the XO role should reach out to me directly first by joining our discord server (https://discord.gg/7CMucgd) or by sending me a DM on discord (BaSingTea#2142).

In the mean time I can't tell you how excited I am to see the Komorkis live and in such a unique way. I know this community will bring soo much to the Star Trek simming space. Until our next discussion take care and happy simming.

Best wishes,

Captain Batu Ra-Ejine
Commanding Officer, USS Komorkis

The past few days of Antos’ extended leave had been one adventure after another...perhaps some of them ill-advised. He had been camping, exploring, racing and orbital skydiving in and around Earth’s solar system. He had even been so close to trying a tri-elliptical jump for the first time, if it…

What can I say about Pacifica? It was an experience to say the very least. I met the love of my life, or rather the love of my night. Four men in four nights is hardly a record, but the way the…

Batu Ra-Ejine rubbed the pips on his collar as he walked through the operations center of Starbase 310 next to the ships station commander, a red-headed female Captain walked alongside him. "That fourth pip still feeling weird Batu?" The taller Efrosian chuckled and pulled his hand back, letting it fall…

The Andorian she had been traveling with was not assigned to the USS Komorkis, the shuttlecraft was simply a transport ferrying her from point a to point b or rather k in this case. She bid adieu to the Andorian as she descended the ramp and planted her feet firmly…

Mission: Boldly Forth

Several years had passed since the last shots were fired during the Dominion War, formally at least. No governments involved had much control over the overzealous militiamen who insist on firing a few stray shots long after a ceasefire; however, Cardassia acted swiftly in ensuring no further transgressions were made…
